Summary

Description
English: Waterwheel, Preston Mill, East Linton Preston Mill is a 17th century building although grain has been milled on this site since the 12th century. The mill was extensively renovated in 1760 and is still functional. The present wheel is of iron with wooden paddles, measures 3.4m in diameter and drives two mill stones. The mill was presented to the National Trust for Scotland in January 1950.
