English: Waiting for the museum to open The Ragged School Museum is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays and on the first Sunday afternoon of the month which was when I happened upon it. It's staffed by friendly and informative volunteers and a visit is highly recommended.
The school premises were originally warehouses standing alongside the canal: steps descending to the towpath from the canal bridge can be seen through the doorway on the left. |
