Description
English: Engraving by Samuel and Nathaniel Buck 1734: The South-East View of Tiverton Castle in the County of Devon. To Sr. Thomas Carew Bart., proprietor of the remains this prospect is most gratefully inscrib'd by his very humble servants Sam. & Nath. Buck. This was the Castle of the Barony of Richard de Ripariis given him by K Hen. I in w.ch Family it continued till Male issue failing, it came by ye female Heir, Isabella de Fortibus, to ye Courtenays & from them by Marriage to the Trelawneys
