Summary
DescriptionThrough the seawall to Ridham Dock, 1983 - geograph.org.uk - 1612231.jpg
English: Through the seawall to Ridham Dock, 1983 A view into the dock area though the flood defence guillotine gate in 1983, when the railway was still in use. A reverse direction shot to the later geograph here. There is no sill for the gate to seat on. Either this seawall was redundant in 1983 (as it appears to be now), or the idea was to use sandbags to seal the gap.
