Summary

Description
English: The Boathouse, Laugharne This was Dylan Thomas's home for the last four years of his life (1949-53), and is now a museum. He used the wooden garage as his writing shed. From near here, at the Ferry House PH (in 1891), there was a ferry across to Black Scar and Llansteffan, where there was a further ferry to Ferryside and Kidwelly - an ancient route. This photograph was taken from the top of the steep garden.
