Summary

Description
English: Steam crane, Thwaite Putty Mills This 1947 crane was removed when the site closed and was taken to Stoke on Trent where it languished in a council yard. When Thwaite Mills were restored it was repatriated, restored and returned to steam. One of very few engines to have been removed and made a comeback. The power station in the background is history.
