English: Riverford Bridge, near Staverton. The Riverford Bridge carries the A384 Buckfastleigh - Dartington road over the River Dart and the South Devon preserved Railway (formerly the Totnes - Ashburton Branch Line). This picture shows all three arches spanning the above, there are further arches taking the bridge across the river Dart. The bridge is single lane with pedestrian shelter points and is controlled by traffic lights at either end. it is the scene of occasional chaos when trucks meet here and on the approaches. It has been known for trucks carrying abnormal loads to get stuck solid here!
