English: Path in Rougemont Gardens, Exeter The northeast side of the gardens, with the former ramparts of the castle on the left, and the ditch surrounding them on the right. All this was landscaped abut 200 years ago, and the ditch area is now used for open-air theatre during the summer. The path ahead leads to Rougemont House and the city centre; sharp left for Athelstan's Tower.
