English: Fast Castle Head Rocks in the sea as seen from Fast Castle Head. Here, scant ruins of Fast Castle cling to a pinnacle of folded greywackes rising from the sea. Fortified structures were built, destroyed and rebuilt by the English and Scots on this site but the remains here are from the 14th century. |
