English: Burton Agnes Hall, Burton Agnes, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Burton Agnes Hall during the Gardeners' Fair which takes place in the hall gardens each year in early June. The Elizabethan house was designed and built by Robert Smithson, Master Mason to Queen Elizabeth I. The hall is thought to be named after Agnes, daughter of Roger de Stuteville who built the original Norman manor house on the site in 1173.
